Say Kids is a band based in Nashville, Tennessee blending rock, psychedelia, funk and blues. They started in early 2018 when Peyton Smith and William Cheatham met at Belmont University and quickly started writing music together. They then found drummer, Matt Gay, and bassist ,Oliver Finch, shortly after the pair moved from Los Angeles to Nashville. They began rehearsing together in Oliver and Matt's garage in Hermitage, Tennessee where they developed and divulged into their sound. Immediately they slipped their way into the scene by playing their first show in The Medium's basement. Eager to play more shows they booked a headlining slot at The End in Nashville and performed for the first time in September 2018. They recorded in their garage and released "Doctor", "Homesick", and "Curtain Call" as singles while they earned their stripes. They played show after show in the Nashville scene with notable local acts like Arlie , Parrotfish, The Thing With Feathers, Oddnote, and many more until it was time for their EP From Earth to be recorded in a finer fashion (not in a garage). They pulled their singles back before the debut of their album and quickly plotted their upcoming single track which was to be recorded in Ocean Way Studios, "Hootie Hoo".

Say Kids are said to be the biggest thing since sliced bread and color TV. Their debut EP "from earth" came out in late September and is on all streaming platforms. Give it a listen, and we hope to see you at a show soon
